Walker & Sharpe is one of Dumfries and Galloway's longest-established and most respected full-service firms, with roots going back to 1847. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Civil Solicitor to join our busy team, with a focus on family law.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor at any stage of their post-qualification career, whether you are newly qualified and looking to develop your practice, or an experienced practitioner ready for a new challenge in a supportive and well-regarded firm.

The Role

You will handle a varied caseload of family law matters, including separation and divorce, financial provision, contact and residence disputes, and cohabitation claims. As part of a full-service firm, there will also be opportunities to develop across other civil practice areas depending on your interests and experience.

About You

• Admitted to practise in Scotland (or shortly to be admitted)
• Experience in, or a genuine interest in building, a family law practice
• Strong client care skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Ability to manage your own caseload with confidence
• A team player who thrives in a busy, friendly environment
